Joining Sortd
Pros apply to join and provide information about their business, trade, service areas and qualifications. Sortd reviews identity, relevant registrations and references before a pro can receive work. Joining is free.
Jobs and quotes
Pros choose whether to quote for an available job and set their own prices. Quotes should clearly separate labour, materials and any call-out charges and describe the work they cover.
Professional standards
Pros are expected to provide accurate information, work within their qualifications and follow applicable safety and trade requirements. The final agreement will set out detailed performance and conduct standards.
Customer information
Before a quote is accepted, pros receive only the job details needed to quote, including the suburb. Customer contact details and street address are shared with the selected pro only after acceptance and should be used for that job.
Money and disputes
Commission, payment timing, refunds, cancellations and dispute rules are still being finalised. The private test site does not process real payments or offer real jobs.
